Nissan Titan Canada

 

 

The Nissan Titan is a full sized pickup truck manufactured by Nissan in Canton, Mississippi since 2004. The Nissan Titan is built on a modified F-alpha platform which it shares with the Nissan Armada, Pathfinder and Infiniti QX luxury SUV. To compete directly with the Ford F-150 and Dodge Ram HEMI engine, Nissan uses a powerful V8, 32-valve, 5.6L engine with 317HP, the valve is dual overhead cam (DOHC) design with a continuously variable valve timing control system, this same engine is used by Nismo which is Nissan's performance division on the sporty Nissan GT-R which replaced the famous Nissan Skyline GT-R.

The Nissan Titan was nominated for the North American Truck of the Year in 2004. The Titan is available in rear-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive with shift on the fly 5-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul mode. Unlike other full sized pickup trucks the Titan is not available in a regular cab, Nissan chose to design two models the Titan king cab with a 6.7' bed while the crew cab has a 5.7' bed and a 7ft bed optional for the Titan crew cab SV model. The Titan is available in various trim models including the fully loaded Titan SL model with leather seats, GPS navigation system, sunroof and XM satellite radio. While the Titan PRO-4X which is available in both models is for off-road 4x4 enthusiasts which includes on demand electronic locking rear differential and Rancho high-performance shocks.
